Arlo Guthrie (* 10. Juli 1947 in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York) ist ein amerikanischer Folk-Musiker. Seine Karriere begann 1967 auf dem Newport Folk Festival mit "Alice�s Restaurant Massacree". 1969 trat er beim Woodstock-Festival auf. Dort trug er seine Fassung von "Amazing Grace" und Bob Dylans "Walking Down the Line" vor. Um 1972 machte er Steve Goodmans "City of New Orleans" bekannt. Guthrie beherrscht eine Vielzahl von Instrumenten.
